Alexandra Ovchinnikova is working on finding her own visual language that allows her to combine realism, folk art and impressionism.
In her paintings one can see the influence of famous Russian artists Isaak Levitan and Arkhip Kuindzi – classics of Russian realism. In the search for vision and understanding, Alexandra felt very close to the group of formalist artists such as Tulenev and Popkov. Her color spectrum and style can also be compared to the works of French impressionists.
