Olga Okuneva appeared at the art scene in the late 1980th exhibiting at the prestigious shows in Moscow, Leningrad, Berlin, Toronto, Toulouse and Krakov.  The artist has now become prominent in the realm of print art.  Her talent is distinguished by acute sensitiveness combined with a strong composition, distributing accents and throwing streams of light into the darkened depth of the work.  Okuneva’s works keenly perceive the subtlest nuances of the mood and poetical analogies.

Okuneva uses a variety of techniques from etching  to color lithography combined with soft varnish and reservage that all contribute to achieving deep compound tones with wandering streams of light catching out of semi-darkness.  The emotional life of Okuneva’s works present spiritual beauty and happiness.
