Victor Korneev was born in 1958 in Tambov, Russia. 1979 -- 1983 Bachelor Degree from K.A. Savitsky Art College, Penza, Russia. 1986 -- 1991 Master's Degree in Sculpture from Stroganoff School of Applied Arts in Moscow, Russia.
He was selected to represent Stroganoff School of Applied Arts at the International Student exhibitions in Japan and Sweden. He participated in many regional, state and international exhibitions.
"The works of Victor Korneev are truly organic in nature. The deformation of shape reveals the expressive power of plastic art, its architecture and volume. Victor Korneev is searching for the adequate plastic language that expresses the modern mentality by the traditional and primitive form of sculpture".
