Igor Khramov was born in 1963 in St. Petersburg, Russia. He graduated from St. Petersburg Architecture and Construction University, department of Architecture in 1986. Igor Khramov is actively exhibiting in Russia and abroad. Also, he teaches art at one of the schools of art for gifted children in St. Petersburg.
Khramov's pictures express the spirit of nature, showing beauty and colors of the Middle-Russia landscape. Using a broad, loose brushstroke, he fills the canvas with a textured array of soft colors, highlighted with darker shading. The result is wonderfully impressionistic, moody, landscapes that capture everything from the warmth of the sun on a hot summer day, to the crisp solitude of winter dusk.
